Because of our diligence to adhere to public health advice as well as increasing
vaccination rates, our state has begun reducing many of the COVID-19 restrictions we all have
endured for the past year.  As we are beginning to return to our regular routines,
I want to emphasize that this remains a time of uncertainty.  Since access to vaccination has become more readily available, I encourage everyone to get vaccinated.  Also, remember to continue the single most effective public health prevention practice of frequent handwashing.
I wish everyone a safe and healthful summer.

- Bob Uhrik, Mayor  -  May 30, 2021
