General Court Information

Court is held the 1st Monday of every month. If your ticket does not reflect a 1st Monday date, then that is the date your ticket is to be paid.

CAN'T LOCATE YOUR TICKET IN THE SYSTEM?

If you received a ticket and you cannot locate it in the system, it's most likely not

entered yet. Ticket entry usually takes 7-10 days after the issuance of the tickets.

WANT TO PLEAD NOT GUILTY?

If you wish to plead not guilty to a ticket, there are two ways you can handle this. You can email rockyhillcourt@gmail.com with your ticket number and the Court Administrator will schedule you a virtual court time and date to speak to the Prosecutor and Judge, or you can log in to njmcdirect.com, enter your information and click "Dispute this ticket" This will generate an email directly to the Prosecutor, and you can negotiate a plea agreement. However, if he denies your request, you still need to take care of the ticket by either paying it or requesting a court date.

I HAVE A MANDATORY COURT DATE, NOW WHAT?

If you have a mandatory court date, please email rockyhilcourt@gmail.com and

provide your email and contact information so a court date can be scheduled for you.

I JUST WANT TO PAY THE TICKET.

If you simply want to pay your ticket, go to njmcdirect.com website. If you are having difficulties, please email rockyhillcourt@gmail.com.

Virtual Court/In Person Court Sessions

Rocky Hill Court uses Zoom for their virtual court platform. You will receive a link prior to your court date where you simply click to enter the courtroom. Your matters will be handled in alphabetical order.

You will have the opportunity to speak with the Municipal Prosecutor, Mr. Joseph Tauriello, to discuss your matter prior to speaking with the Judge.
